Screening: For Sale or Rent

Rio de Janeiro. Maria Alice (Marieta Severo) lives in an old luxurious home at the proximity of a favela with her mother, daughter and granddaughter. She works as a free-lancer translator, even for her drug dealer neighbors, but she knows that the only way to solve her problems is selling the house. Given its proximity to a slum, they find themselves also unable to sell or rent it. When the UPP (Special Police Unit) occupies the community, potential buyers come to see the house. However, during their visit a shootout begins, leaving everyone trapped inside. While facing life threats, little sins are revealed by visitors and residents as tragicomic situations start to happen.
